In a previous post I told you about how Lady Luck winked at me many times lately.
One manifestation of it was my winning of fabulous give-away prizes.
The postman came last week and brought me my first ever set of washi tapes from the lovely Anne from Pennsylvania.
On her blog Anne's Mail she blogs about writing letters and receiving snail mail, stamps, mail art and other topics like vintage and DIY. To celebrate her 50 followers milestone, she generously offered a mini washi tape set to a lucky reader who turned out to be yours truly here!
I have never used or had any of these Japanese stationery before but now I have some - and such lovely ones too - I see endless possibilities of use. These will primp up anything plain or boring looking and will make gift wrapping more fun.
So thanks so much Anne for your giveaway - the prize has come to a very good home!
Do you use washi tape? Ever used it for anything arty - what did you make?
wonderful! I haven't tried washi tape yet, but I'd like to. I haven't seen it in Slovenian stores though.
ReplyDeleteit's such a novelty over here too! lucky me! :)
DeleteOh, so cool! I never seem to win anything! Haven't tried washi tape either, but I like the projects that I've seen so far!
ReplyDeletei don't know how but i've had a bit of a windfall - i've said it so many times now it probably sounds like i'm a terrible bragger with a broken record, but i think i just can't quite believe it :)
Deletei've seen something simple and useful, will try to squeeze it in recreating it and will post up :)
Oh how nice colors. I like it to mark the jam glasses and for gift wrapping...
ReplyDeleteJam jar labels - what a brilliantly simple idea! I wish I had these tapes when I made the redcurrant jam!
DeleteI've never heard of Washi tape the colors are so cheerful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to something new.
Enjoyed my visit can't wait to visit again.
Denise
