I am reviving the blog to investigate and explore my interest in reusing thrown-away textiles ie. textile waste.
I don't much like this word 'waste' in this textile context. I like to think of textile waste as potential raw material for creating new textile works. I know I'm not alone with this, and its definitely not a new idea... it has been interesting to me since childhood, so it is really time for me to get stuck in!
Today I came home with 2,5 kgs of printed cotton remnants, very exciting to start something stitchy!
